Duties & Responsibilities:
Supervision and Leadership
- Provides ongoing supervision to Clinical Supervisors and as required, directly supervises clinical staff.
- Supports and guides master-level staff working towards advanced licensing, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and applicable laws.
- Coordinates and oversees psychiatric services and mental health services for participants, including participation in clinical supervisor on-call rotations.
Compliance and Standards
- Ensures rigorous compliance with licensing and agency standards in the provision of Clinical/mental health services.
- Upholds organizational policies, practices, and ethical standards, ensuring staff compliance.
- Exemplifies and promotes Heartland Human Care Services’ Leadership Qualities (4Rs: Responsible, Reliable, Relational, and Respectful).
Operational Oversight
- Oversees all clinical operations and therapeutic interventions at Safety programs, ensuring familiarity with and knowledge of Clinical care protocols suited to each program and population served.
- Allocates staff effectively to ensure 7-day-a-week coverage at programs, balancing workload and responsibilities.
- Assists in the development of participant care protocols and standard operating procedures, contributing to the effective functioning of therapeutic services.
Training and Development
- Provides clear direction, training, and oversight of all therapeutic services provided by the assigned programs.
- Plays a key role in the selection, interviewing, onboarding, and transitions of Clinical staff and interns.
Quality Assurance
- Ensures program quality related to clinical operations across Safety Initiatives, actively developing and reviewing outcome measures.
- Oversees department-wide timely and quality completion of all participant records, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of program operations, designs, and outcome measures.
Strategic Planning
- Engages in strategic planning related to Clinical Services and the organization, contributing to long-range plans and periodic assessment reports.
- Assists in the development of organizational plans/policies related to professional standards, ensuring adherence and understanding throughout the team.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Clinical Supervisors, Mental Health Clinical Practitioner, Clinical Interns.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in social work (MSW) or MA in Clinical or Counseling fields and above.
- Minimum two (2) years of Clinical and supervisory experience.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Clinical Psychologist Degree and license required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (K/S/A):
- Bilingual language skills preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
- Strong communication and networking skills.
- Ability to apply mathematical concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving and strategic thought partnership skills.
Work Arrangement:
This role is in-person, with an active presence at assigned programs on a rotating basis.
