About the role:
The Associate Director, Clinical Strategy, is responsible for developing and maintaining the clinical evidence strategy for the franchise, and for ensuring the execution of the evidence requirements throughout the product life cycle. This role will develop and monitor metrics to ensure the evidence strategy supports franchise goals. The Associate Director is also responsible for representing the Clinical Sciences organization at senior-level meetings and ensuring that information and prioritization changes are communicated consistently and effectively.
Your responsibilities will include:
⦁ Collaborate with various partners within clinical sciences, marketing, R&D, regulatory, legal, and other groups to understand the disease landscape, market needs, and competitive environment.
⦁ Develop, maintain, and communicate the clinical evidence strategy in alignment with regulatory, reimbursement, and market adoption requirements, and business objectives, while incorporating a sound quality perspective. Set team priorities and expectations and provide quality assurance to make sure deliverables have high business impact and ensure stakeholder visibility.
⦁ Monitor and report on the progress and outcomes of the clinical evidence strategy and identify and mitigate any issues or gaps.
⦁ Collaborate and communicate with various business and scientific stakeholders to provide insights on disease states, unmet clinical needs, and to evaluate the clinical and technical feasibility of new or existing technologies for different indications
⦁ Engage with external stakeholders, such as key opinion leaders, investigators, regulators, payers, and patients to solicit feedback, build relationships, and communicate the clinical value of the technologies.
⦁ Support and oversee ISR (Investigator Sponsored Research) and HCP (Health Care Professional) collaborations.
⦁ Manage the PSST clinical review process and ensure compliance with internal and external standards and regulations.
⦁ Support team with influence management, oversee and guarantee quality of multiple concurrent clinical evidence strategy programs while maintaining context and objectivity to ensure data-based conclusions.
Required qualifications:
⦁ Minimum 7 years of experience in clinical research, Clinical Strategy, or clinical affairs in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical industry, and/or medical device industry.
⦁ Minimum 5 years of clinical trial design and analysis, as well as regulatory and reimbursement requirements for medical devices.
⦁ Demonstrated people leadership experience with a proven ability to lead a team of individuals or people managers with varying levels of experience.

⦁ Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
⦁ Proven ability to think strategically, creatively, and analytically, and to solve complex problems.
