Description:
The Chief of Staff Associate will provide direct support to the Chief of Staff. Support the cataloging, review, and analysis of existing policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) throughout the University; take leading role in compiling consolidated, uniform list and identifying key gaps. This position is critical to the support needs of the organization and offers room for growth.
Assures uniform application of all administrative and operating policies and procedures, coordination of related responsibilities and resolution of problems encountered in day-to-day operations.
What You'll Do:
Act as primary point of contact with Facilities Management to support University expansion project.
Act as primary NCR POC for new hire onboarding.
Serves as project lead for updating file management and document disposition in coordination with DSCU stakeholders.
Assists Chief of Staff, DSCU with meeting planning and preparation. Supports executive long range calendar planning and execution.
Participate in special projects when required.
Track the status of all lines of effort; maintain the relevant documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as primary/alternate point of contact with DSCA Security and Facilities Management to address campus issues.
Responds to scheduling guidance from the Chief of Staff, DSCU, within 12 hours.
Assists in coordinating travel for the DSCU Executive leadership for various types of schedules/itineraries, visas/passports, required clearances and additional administrative duties, etc. as required.
Processes all travel vouchers (DTS or MyTravel) within five days of travel.
Assist the DSCU Executive leadership with research assistance, document drafting, and representing them at meetings.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
A minimum bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (or higher degree preferred).
Experience:
Candidate must have recent experience in management leading people (experience may have been gained in the military or private sector). Having executed management duties, candidate should be able to demonstrate experience in leadership, managing projects, operations, and multi-tasking. Candidate must be a leader, organized, motivated and able to work independently.
Additional experience in the field of security cooperation (SC) is a plus.
Other Requirements:
Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data system

The successful candidate’s starting pay will be based on, but not limited to, their job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
USD $115,000 - $135,000
Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
