Associate Character Artist | North America | Europe

What We are looking for:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Character Artist to join our team. You will be responsible for making high-quality high-poly models, creating optimal low-poly models, baking maps, and texturing assets for all types of character art content. You will collaborate with the Lead Character Artist to meet expected artistic, quality, and efficiency standards. You will work with Lead Character Artist and Production to assist outsourcing efforts.

Requirements

What You Will Do:

• Work with Character Artists and Technical Artists to create character content at expected standards.
• Create beautiful character art from reference materials and/or concept art
• Adapt to the concept and style of the project.
• Work with outsourcing teams.
• Understand and meet Character deadlines.
• Collaborate with other Art departments (especially Animators, Technical Artists, and VFX)

What you will bring:

• Strong Art Portfolio demonstrating artistic abilities in character art.
• Strong understanding of what it takes to execute high-fidelity character art.
• Experience in sculpting quality character anatomy, faces, clothing, and creatures.
• Strong knowledge of Maya (or 3ds Max or Blender), ZBrush, Unreal Engine & Substance Painter
• Passion for character art
• Great communication skills
