Job Overview:
A drafter with 1-3 years of experience is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software. The primary objective is to support engineers, architects, and other professionals by producing accurate and precise drawings to help them visualize, design, and develop a wide range of products, structures, and systems.
Key Responsibilities:

• Creating and modifying technical drawings using CAD software such as NX, CREO, AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
  • Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other professionals to understand their design requirements and specifications.
  • Reviewing and updating existing drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Communicating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical and design-related issues.
  • Maintaining and organizing digital files, including drawings and technical documentation.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry advancements and emerging CAD software.
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to entry-level drafters and technicians.
  • Participating in the development and implementation of drafting standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Certification with experience or an Associate's degree or higher in engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in drafting and using CAD software such as NX, CREO, AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve design-related issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
  • Knowledge of industry standards, product lifecycle management tools and design practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor entry-level drafters and technicians.
