Job Description:
Parsons is now hiring for a driven and talented Associate Bridge Engineer to join our actively growing transportation team in support of our expanding portfolio of major state and area projects!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Bridge design, estimating, quantity calculations, technical reports, plan details, and detailed engineering analyses
• Interfacing with CAD designers, other engineers, and clients
• Working on local, state, and projects across the country
• Producing drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes, utilizing CAE/CAD as applicable
• Preparing standard engineering computations, material quality takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs
• Developing requisitions for equipment and materials
• Reviewing small drawings and portions of larger supplier drawing submittals and assists in performing technical bid analyses
• Preparing specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents
• Providing input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project
• Performing other responsibilities associated with this position as necessary

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• 4-year degree in civil engineering
• 0-2 years or more of related work experience
• Working knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required.
• Communication and organizational skills

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate is preferred
• Relevant DOT experience
• Familiarity with relevant software needed to complete deliverables such as Microstation, LEAP Bridge Software (Conspan and RC Pier), Merlin Dash or MDX, and Finite element software

Salary Range:
$24.18 - $42.31
