Associate AttorneysEmployment & Construction (2-6 years)
We have openings for associate level attorneys in our Boston & Hartford offices. We are a full-service, AmLaw 100 firm with robust national and local practices with multiple opportunities including complex commercial litigation, employment, wage & hour employment, healthcare/employee benefits, product liability and toxic tort, and real estate transactions, among others. Employment Attorneys
Ideal candidate must have 2-6 years of employment practice experience, preferably on the management side, including both litigation and employer counseling. Qualifications -Litigation experience involving employment discrimination claims, pending before the MCAD & EEOC, and in state and federal courts (drafting position statements), investigating allegations of discrimination in the workplace, responding to MA Attorney General investigations into employer wage and hour practices, defending claims against non-compliance, employment counseling for employers on all stages of the employment relationship, guiding employers on performance management issues and drafting and revising employee handbooks for MA businesses.
Additional experience desired includes drafting and responding to pleadings in matters involving tort liability defense, taking and defending depositions, arguing motions in trial court and defending claims involving allegations of housing discrimination.
Construction Attorneys
Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of experience handling complex commercial, business or construction litigation matters. Experience with commercial constructioncontract drafting, negotiation, and construction law is preferred, but not required. Candidates must have an excellent academic background, proven skills in writing, analysis, research, and be a self-starter who is able to handle a case from inception with minimal supervision. Additionally, a commitment to superior client service is essential. Trial experience is preferred, but not required.
