Associate Attorney (Hybrid)

A growing law firm in Charlotte, North Carolina, seeks an Associate Attorney with at least five years of business law or relevant experience. Must be licensed presently in NC and in good standing (SC licensed also preferred). Practice areas are business law, franchise law, and civil litigation. Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and briefs
• Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and arguments
• Attend client meetings and provide legal advice and guidance
• Assist with legal administrative tasks as needed

Position requirements are:

• Must be presently licensed and in good standing in NC/SC
• 5+ years of business law or relevant experience
• Excellent communication, writing, and research skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Must work well remotely or in an office environment
• Proficiency with current technology and ease of learning new technology, including cloud-based programs and apps
• Self-motivated and able to self-challenge to meet goals
• Adept at networking, business-to-business relationship development, and client communication
• Capable of multi-tasking, organization, and managing deadlines
