Associate Attorney

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled attorney to join our family law practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for family law and a strong desire to advocate for clients going through challenging legal situations. As an Associate Attorney, you will handle a variety of family law cases, providing legal advice, representation, and support to clients.
Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, paternity, child custody, child support, guardianships, adoptions, and more.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Attend court hearings and depositions, advocating for clients' interests.
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide legal advice and keep them informed about case progress.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
• Work collaboratively with other attorneys and staff members within the firm.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
• Stay up to date with changes in family law and legal precedents.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active and good standing license to practice law in Indiana.
• 0-3 years of experience in family law or a related field.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach when dealing with clients.
