Associate Accountant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Associate Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting various accounting functions to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger entries.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and process journal entries.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Help ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Conduct research and provide support for audits and tax filings.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience
• Big 4 experience preferred
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• CPA preferred
• Master's Degree highly preferred
• Knowledge of or previous experience working with ProSystem Tax or OneSource Trust Tax is a plus
• U.S. GAAP/GAAS knowledge
