Job description

Regeneron's Non-clinical Bioanalysis (NBA), located in Tarrytown NY, is seeking a motivated Associate to join the group. In this role you will assist the nonclinical sample analysis for pharmacokinetic and toxicokinetic studies in support of drug development programs, IPA through IND.

A Typical Day in the Role of Associate Scientist Might Look Like:
  • Train on manual and automated bioanalytical methods and implement methods to perform bioanalysis for preclinical toxicology and pharmacokinetic studies under direct supervision.
  • Complete multiple plates within the same day. May perform multiple methods each week for multiple projects; Adapt to changing priorities, as needed.
  • Routinely generate high quality data and documentation. Maintaining complete, accurate, and timely documentation of all laboratory work and data analysis in accordance with working practices, company SOPs, bioanalytical methods, and FDA regulations.
  • Interpret data to assess plate acceptance criteria and adjust sample dilutions accordingly (with assistance of their supervisor as needed). Report assay-related failures to their manager. May perform development experiments to troubleshoot assay-related issues under direct supervision. May summarize data under supervision and present in a logical manner to their manager and Lab Manager.
  • Demonstrate strong listening skills and shares information effectively with their manager, Lab Manager, and other team members.
  • Conduct necessary operations in LIMS (requesting samples, building analysis plates, tracking sample movement, tracking pending analysis and performing data entry). Submit data/all relevant documentation for review to manager in timely manner. Use the ELN for data documentation purposes.

This role requires a Bachelors degree (BS) in biology or a related field with 0-2 years laboratory experience. Experience with Immunoassays (ELISA, MSD, and ADA) a plus. Knowledge of ELN, LIMS, SoftMax and GLP is highly desired, but training will be provided if necessary. Proficient with commonly used software applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, GraphPad).

Salary Range (annually)

$68,000.00 - $106,400.00
