We are hiring Certified Nursing Assistants / Caregivers to join our team in Assisted Residential Living Department!
Job Purpose: To provide Direct Resident Care under supervision of the Charge Nurse. The Certified Nursing Assistant / Caregiver follows established policies and procedures while providing and coordinating resident care with other facility personnel.
Shift available:
- Afternoon: 3PM-9PM
- 6 hour shift
- weekend availability required

Job Tasks:
- Receives report and assignments.
- Grooming and bathing patients with low mobility
- Set towels for next day showers
- Helping patients eat and take medications
- Making sure they have regular meals and proper medication dosages
- Monitoring vitals and patient behavior and reporting them to the nursing and medical staff
- Assisting patients with mobility needs, transferring them from wheelchair to bed
- Turning or adjusting patients in bed to prevent bedsores or other discomfort
- Reports immediately to Charge Nurse anything unusual about residents.
- Keeps bedside and over-bed tables clean and uncluttered. Keeps side rails clean.
- Support with escorts in the dining room and to and from the dining room
- Takes them to bathroom every two hours and as requested
- Take care of the 2nd floor dining room, for dinner and feed residents
- Makes sure all residents are offered nourishment at indicated times.
- Charts on all residents, making sure to include a narrative note about the activity and progress of the resident that day.
- Assist with any emergencies & assist in the office with any needs
- Other duties as assigned by the Charge Nurse, Supervisor and/or Director of Nursing Services
Non-essential Duties:

- Must have a positive attitude, an attention to detail and enjoy interfacing with members and staff
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or Manager
- High school diploma or equivalent
- DOJ Livescan Clearance
- First aid & CPR certification
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred but not required
- Previous experience working with seniors in a healthcare setting- Long term care preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist residents with mobility
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
