OVERVIEW OF THE LODGES COMPANY:

The Lodges operates 12 residential care homes that offer 24 hour Assisted Living services. Each home accommodates 5 -14 residents comfortably. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in Assisted Living preferred.
  • Experience supervising and leading a team preferred.
  • CNA/ NAR or HHA Certificate preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administrations, business administration or related field preferred.
  • Experience supervising and leading a team preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal and/or abuse background check,and drug screening.
  • Reliable transportation to work.
  • Qualified Assisted Living Director through The Minnesota Board of Executives for Long Term Services and Supports (BELTSS) nice to have but not required.

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
This position requires the incumbent to:

  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and statutes that pertain to Assisted Living licensure
  • Communication Specialist
  • Expertise in working with resident populations.
  • Excellent supervisory and leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a number of staff.
  • Expertise in developing support services and building community support.
  • A high level of independent, problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for making a difference in people's lives.
  • Proven ability to adeptly manage multiple priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt, innovate and lead in an environment that moves at a rapid pace, where change is common.
  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & TASKS:
Estimated time.

  • 40% - Expectations & Direction (Manage – VC – Metrics)
  • 25% - Inspire & Motivate (Lead-Rounds)
  • 20% - On Floor Engagement (Rounds, CC)
  • 10% - Meetings & Admin
  • 5% - Direct Care (Labor # and Rounds)

JOB FUNCTION: Support and live out values and mission of The Lodges Company. Develop, monitor and evaluate systems, programs and services that address needs of a very challenging and diverse resident population as well as the goals of The Lodges Company. Other tasks include:

  • Passionate about living out The Lodges Company core values.
  • Oversite of community operations and outcomes.
  • Manage day-to-day community operations.
  • Lead, manage and hold direct reports accountable for responsible tasks.
  • Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and oversight of successful onboarding of new employees
  • Manage and support ongoing education clear responsibilities.
  • Oversight of community delegated tasks to ensure proper workflow.
  • Oversight of food codes, supplies budgets and menus.
  • Oversight of activity and supply management.
  • Oversight of team schedules
  • Oversight of community engagement and outcomes.
  • Continuously monitoring employee performance and identifying areas of improvement.
  • Establishing company goals and objectives for employees, and ensuring their performance and identifying areas of improvement

  • Addressing any concerns or issues identified by team members.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
This position manages the operations of The Lodges Company community. Ensure that the housing property is supported by high quality programs and services which allow residents to live in the most beneficial environment. Direct the property in such a way that meets the needs of the residents and complies with and meets the goals of regulatory agencies and The Lodges Company coordinate services.
