Assisted Living Manager

KSC Care is a Phoenix-based operator of Assisted Living homes with a current focus on residents with traumatic brain injuries. Our goal is to provide quality homes that promote a largely independent lifestyle for our residents. We are looking for passionate, reliable, and licensed caregivers for our Assisted Living homes.
KSC Care, a growing Assisted Living company in the valley, is looking for a licensed manager for an Assisted Living home located in Scottsdale, AZ. Applicants should be dedicated, reliable, have high integrity, and be passionate about providing a safe and happy home for residents. Time commitment is part time at 20 hours a week with possibility of growth in hours and pay. Duties Include:

* Overseeing the daily operations and services provided by the Assisted Living home
* Ensuring good cleanliness, environment, and orderliness in the home
* Preparing food menus and snacks for each week including preparing and obtaining shopping lists
* Establishing and maintaining written resident service plans
* Ensuring that policies and procedures are established, documented, and implemented to protect the health and safety of all residents
* Keeping and maintaining personnel and residents' records, including resident medical records
* Establishing a disaster preparedness plan for the home and hold periodic trainings with staff and residents
* Coordinating the provision of all services including food, vaccination, recreational and rehabilitative activities, equipment inspection and maintenance, infection control, and quality management
* Manages the caregivers of the facility by monitoring the duties and qualifications of employees and volunteers, and report and respond to any suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation
* Manages caregiver training on both daily operations and first aid
* Manages the termination of residency either initiated by the manager, the resident, or the resident’s representative
* Be the liaison between resident families and KSC Care
* Other duties as assigned

A qualified applicant for this position must:
* Be 21 years of age or older
* Be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
* Have a permanent Assisted Living facility manager license
* Possess a level 1 fingerprint clearance card
* Have certifications in CPR & First Aid
* Possess basic computer skills
