Responsibilities:
- Supports and promotes the household functions by following established policies and procedures.
- Responsible for managing, directing and supervising all personnel and all operations of the household.
- Designate duties and responsibilities to Assisted Living household staff in a manner that facilitates optimum delivery of care to residents.
- Coordinates household assistants' scheduling. Ensures staffing numbers are adequate for the provision of resident care. Responsible for replacement staff, if the need arises.
- Promotes facility philosophies and objectives through effective staff communication and education.
- Serves as Assigned Supervisor for household Assisted Living personnel. Conducts employee performance reviews, disciplinary conferences and exit interviews in a timely fashion.
- Assesses condition of ill residents. Works with, and directs household assistants in providing care of such residents.
- Audits staff to ensure accuracy of medications.
- Accurately and thoroughly completes required reports and documentation in a timely fashion.
- Regularly meets with adult care attendants to communicate shift needs and coordinate necessary improvements and monitor for success.
- Responsible for receiving and giving report to former and subsequent staff. Identifies priorities and follows through to ensure issues are addressed.
- Acts as liaison for facility relations with the general public. Presents a service-oriented philosophy reflecting the ministry of Heritage Ministries and conveys this to staff and residents.

Qualifications:
- Licensed currently as a Registered Nurse in New York State in good standing preferred or; Licensed currently as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State in good standing with at least 2 years of relevant nurse experience. Must maintain licensure requirements.
- Additional education or experience in Assisted Living, home care, or long-term care nursing preferred.
- Must be able to meet New York State Department of Health regulations to be an Adult Care Facility Administrator / Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.
- Supervisory experience required.
