Description
The Assistant Coach is responsible for all phases of developing and maintaining a successful Athletic Program at the College through their support of the Head Coach. This is a part-time seasonal position.

Recruitment of potential student-athletesPractice preparationIn and out-of season trainingGame/match day managementRetention of quality student-athletesEnsures the success and safety of student athletes on and off the fieldMonitors team members' academic progress and performance, and makes referrals to the appropriate College departments to enhance student's academic success.Assists with all facets of athlete eligibility certification Responsible for the safe transportation of team members to and from away contestsAdheres to all NJCAA, Region 19, RCSJ and Athletic Department rules and regulationsResponsible for fundraising and development of alumni and community relationsPossesses the ability to be a team player within the Athletics Department and the CollegePerforms duties of the Head Coach in his/her absence.Performs other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications
Past playing and/or coaching experience in the sport is required.Associate’s degree requiredValid driver’s license, which is currently in good standingSupplemental Information
