Summary

Plan and coordinate the administrative and operational activities of student ticketing for football, men's basketball and ice hockey. Report to the Director of Ticket Operations and has the broad authority to make commitments within the policies established by the Associate Athletic Director for Marketing/Fan Engagement and Experience.

Responsibilities*

Essential Functions

  • Act as liaison with the University community involving any student ticketing issues.
  • Work with Office of Financial Aid and Registrar/s Office to ensure accurate student enrollment.
  • Assist in developing and implementing student ticket policies and procedures for the Athletic Ticket Office.
  • Coordinate the flow of information concerning student ticket to the Customer Service team to assist them in providing exemplary service.
  • Allocate all student orders for ticketed events.
  • Resolve student customer inquiries and complaints using independent judgement and discretion within established policies.
  • Act as a liaison between the President's Office, Government Relations, the Alumni Association, University Development, and the Athletic Ticket Office to coordinate and fill orders.
  • Oversee the ticket operations for select Olympic Sports as assigned by the Director of Ticket Operations, including the sale and distribution of season and single game tickets, as well as set up of seasons, configurations, online ticketing, Access Management, Ballena upgrade process, SeatGeek, data imports/exports and custom reports.
  • Prepare any reports requested by the Athletic Department, University Big Ten, and NCAA via the Paciolan computer system.
  • Work in conjunction with and assist auditors during audit reviews.
  • Will have specific Football and Men's Basketball game day responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Ticket Operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Ticket Operations.

Travel

  • Must be willing to travel as needed.

Required Qualifications*

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.
  • One year of related experience and/or training.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate effectively with customers, co-workers and supervisors.
  • Knowledge of Paciolan or similar ticket software.
  • Progressively responsible experience in college athletic ticketing.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft word, excel spreadsheets and basic accounting procedures.
  • Must work well in high stress situations and be able to adapt on the fly to any last minute changes.

Desired Qualifications*

  • Expertise with eQuery, t.Res, PacPlatform and Ballena.
  • Knowledge of NCAA policies regarding ticketing.
  • Knowledge of Big Ten policies regarding ticketing.
