SalaryAssistant Teacher Job Summary
We are looking for caring Assistant Teachers for our three-year-old classrooms and afterschool/school holiday classroom. You will collaborate with our Lead Teachers to prepare children for school both academically and socially by using age-appropriate lesson plans, selecting effective developmental materials for the classroom, and utilizing positive behavior reinforcement. AvaiAvailable to work Monday through Friday from 12:00 pm - 6:00pm.
Assistant Teacher Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing curriculum
- Support creativity and learning
- Provide supervision during activities
- Select age-appropriate developmental materials for the classroom
- Keep classroom neat and organized
- Provide parents with progress reports
- File incident reports as needed
Assistant Teacher Requirements and Qualifications
- At least 16 years old
- First aid and CPR certification is a plus
- Complete annual training
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
