Purpose/Summary/Job Goal:
Responsible for the recruitment, selection, employment of certified and classified staff and oversight of personnel compliance. Oversees both strategy and execution of staff recruitment in the district. Additionally, this person will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with hiring managers and external partners. This person needs to be equally skilled in executing current year tactics to address the next upcoming school year staffing needs while also managing the workforce engagement pillar of the district's long term strategic plan which will result in continuing to maximize the district's ongoing focus on building a robust teacher and staff pipeline for future years. This position will oversee the district's safety and security operations.
Candidate Profile
Experience: Central Office or Secondary Administrative experience preferred
Appropriate Missouri Administrator's Certificate required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Executes all phases of the district's recruitment and hiring processes.
- Promotes positive and productive school climate and culture via collaboration with the superintendent and other district leadership to continually create an atmosphere of engagement, growth, and development for all staff members.
- Supervise all aspects of the district's safety and security operations
- Serves as district Title 9 officer
- Responsible for workforce compliance issues, inclusive of staff level investigations.
- Supervises district transportation director
- Prepares and presents studies and reports critical to effective decision making in assigned areas of responsibility
- Serves as district personnel compliance officer including the management of the district's response process to ensure timelines are met and thorough investigations are performed with appropriate feedback provided.
- Supervises and supports the district's wellness program coordinator to ensure wellness support and training reaches the needs of staff
- Develops and promotes celebration and recognition of staff achievements
- Oversees implementation of electronic personnel records system (conversion from current system)
- Stays current on local, state, and federal laws, rules, regulations, and other requirements for compliance by the school district.
- Participates in the implementation of the district's communication plan as needed
- Attends all regular and special meetings of the Board of Education
- Other duties as assigned
