Spartans Sports Camp is dedicated to providing an encouraging and positive environment that aids the development of its campers as both children and athletes. In the course of this goal, we intend to promote an active, healthy lifestyle for campers and to provide leadership opportunities for high school and college students. Spartans Sports camp is a 501(c)(3) organization raising funds for Mtn. View HS Athletics. Since 2012, the camp has raised over $480,000.

The Assistant Site Director assists in the overall supervision and execution of multiple summer camps running concurrently on the Mtn. View HS campus. They will work closely with the Site Director, Camp Director, and Multi-Sport Director to ensure a positive experience for every camper. This position has an operations focus with a significant amount of physical work required setups, moving equipment, etc.

This position is a leadership position that requires a time commitment year-round.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

-Lead with an enthusiastic and engaging attitude to maintain the Spartans Sports Camp culture

-Responsible for the overall safety and operations of multiple summer camps running concurrently

-Lead camp setups and lunch service.

-Inventory and distribute camp t-shirts and supplies

-Assess and manage equipment and facility needs

-Assist in recruiting counselors and assistant directors.

-Off-Season Duties: Assist in program development, planning, and marketing in the off-season. 5 hours per week.

-In-Season 7-8 week Summer Program Duties: 40-50 hours per week.

Compensation: $27/hour. Non-exempt position eligible for overtime.

Requirements

-18 yrs of age or older

-Pass background check if age 18 or older.

-Provide references upon request.

-Experience in coaching, daycare, camp, or education..

-Able to commute to Mtn View, CA. Local candidates only please.
