Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the service department
- Manage a team of service technicians and ensure efficient workflow
- Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns
- Schedule and prioritize service appointments
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets company standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary parts and supplies
- Maintain accurate records of service transactions and customer interactions
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and improve overall service delivery
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive service management or a related field
- Strong knowledge of auto body repair, shocks struts, service writing, upselling, transmission, auto estimating, sales, suspend, and diesel engine repair
- Proven track record in managing a team and achieving performance targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for record keeping and reporting
- Dealertrack and Xtime experience preferred
