Mary's is a premier Equestrian Store located in Del Mar, CA. 92014 since 1963.
We offer a physical in-store experience to our equestrian community as well as comprehensive online presence that ships all over the country.
We are looking for an energetic, well organized, goal oriented, horse and dog lover with a positive attitude who has both outstanding people skills as well as very good administrative skills. If you are a horse lover who has an appreciation for good horse gear and a calling to help those around you then this leadership position may be a perfect fit.
The Assistant Sales Manager assists the floor managers with training, coaching, store maintenance, Policy and procedure enforcement, Store maintenance, product training , contests and encouragement.
This role is a stepping stone to the floor manager position.

Training is provided
Pay is hourly plus bonus schedule.
Must be available to work any days of the week and weekends.
May require some overtime.
Starting pay is $21.00/hr and will be re-evaluated in 90 days
Eligible for bonus programs after 90 days.
Requirements:To be considered candidate must be able to:
- Be on your feet most of the day, this is not a desk job.
- Be familiar with outlook and Excel.
- Be present this is NOT a remote position or a hybrid.
- Get really excited about Horse equipment and apparel for all disciplines.
- Lift at least 35lb and be willing to climb a 4 foot ladder if necessary.
- Work independently as successfully as with a team.
- Be willing to travel occasionally.
