Summary:
Overseeing multiple outlets and all team members during shift. Evaluate and oversee job performance for team members. Ensure that kitchens and equipment are in good working order and ensure a clean and hazard free work area that complies with department of Health, OSHA and Arizona Charlies guidelines. Plan, prep, set up and provide quality service in all areas of food production of menu items and specials in accordance with standards and plating guide specifications.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Managing all BOH staff, including hiring, training, and delegating tasks
- Ensure compliance with applicable health codes and regulations.
- Maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quality, and appearance.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety standards for a safe and efficient shift.
- Perform various job duties that will include operation of grill, fryer, broiler, oven, and pizza oven in accordance with kitchen needs.
- Maintain knowledge of all outlet recipes to ensure food preparation is correct and of high quality
- Prepare food according to regular and special menus on a continual basis
- Ensuring food quality, safety, and presentation standards.
- Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by chef.
Qualifications
- 1 year of previous experience as a line cook in a full-service restaurant
- Previous experience working in a high-volume restaurant preferred
- Advanced knowledge pertaining to the required cuisine via specialized training or a combination of training and experience
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and sanitation guidelines
- Previous experience working in a team or group environment
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Proven experience providing high level of guest service
- Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States
