Responsibilities
- Assist the Nurse Manager in providing leadership and direction to the nursing staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and compassion.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to pediatric patients in the PICU.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, utilizing data and best practices to enhance patient outcomes and optimize efficiency.
- Assist in managing staffing levels, equipment, and supplies to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Advocate for the needs and preferences of patients and their families, ensuring that their voices are heard and respected throughout their healthcare journey.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing BSN
- Valid Georgia or Multi-State RN License
- Previous charge nurse, nurse coordinator, or assistant Nurse Manager experience
- Cilnical experience in critical care, ICU, PICU
