JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Project Management Assistant/ Prefabrication is responsible for assisting with various tasks related to all aspects of the pre-fabrication and delivery process. The Project Management Assistant/ Prefabrication will report directly to the Pre-Construction Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Input job drawings and fabrication packages into Share File system.
· Build and maintain fabrication packages along tracking spreadsheets.
· Help coordinate and track fabrication deliveries with Project Managers and field foreman.
· Build and maintain preventative maintenance tracker/records for shop equipment.
· Manage Share File access and set up permissions as needed.
- Download, print, and manage project plans, specifications, etc.
· Assist Project Managers and Field Employees with access to prefabrication tracking information and plans.
· Process daily completed fabrication spools and update share file information.
- Scan, File
· Other duties as assigned by management.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
· Construction industry experience is a strong plus.
· Strong computer skills and experience with – Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
· Good written and verbal communication skills – ability to work with a team at all levels of an organization.
· Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
· Organization and time management skills are critical – multiple projects will be assigned at the same time; must prioritize tasks accordingly.
· Basic accounting skills
· Ability to understand/analyze project plans/specifications.
