he successful applican s will demons ra e appropria e echnical exper ise and indus rial experience o each all courses in he MME Depar men . his includes undergradua e/gradua e courses in Mechanical Engineering echnology and gradua e courses in Manufac uring Engineering. Candida es will have an ac ive research agenda rela ed o one or more of he focus areas of manufac uring, compu er-aided engineering, or fluids and power sys ems.

Essen ial Du ies & Responsibili ies (o her du ies may be assigned)
1. each ME undergradua e courses and labora ories such as machine ool fundamen als, parame ric 3D CAD modeling, s a ics, s reng h of ma erials, dynamics, machine design, fluid mechanics, hea ransfer, hermodynamics, quali y, and produc design.
2. each ME undergradua e echnical elec ive courses and labora ories in he following areas: manufac uring processes; fluids and power sys ems; and compu er-aided engineering.
3. each gradua e courses in he following areas: Addi ive Manufac uring, GD& , Fluid Power, Robo ic Sys em Dynamics, and Safe y.
4. Crea e innova ive ins ruc ional ma erials and labora ory experiences.
5. Par icipa e in program assessmen ac ivi y rela ed o accredi a ion.
6. Conduc research in an area rela ed o mechanical and/or manufac uring engineering.
7. Par icipa e in service ac ivi ies rela ed o he depar men , college, universi y, and professional socie ies.

Required Educa ion, Cer ifica ions, Licensures (minimum requiremen s)
Doc ora e in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering echnology, or a closely rela ed engineering or engineering echnology field from an accredi ed ins i u ion (ABE , E AC, or comparable).
Required Experience (minimum requiremen s)
1. Minimum of 5 years relevan engineering experience in an indus rial, governmen , or academic research se ing
2. Evidence of effec ive eaching a he pos secondary level
3. Evidence of s rong oral and wri en communica ion, compu er and oral presen a ion skills
4. Demons ra ed work experience in a eaching lab se ing
Desirable Educa ion and/or Experience
1. Ex ensive college/universi y eaching experience in mechanical or manufac uring areas
2. Ex ensive relevan engineering experience beyond 5 years
3. Cer ifica ions in GD& , Addi ive Manufac uring, CMfgE, CAD sys ems, Six Sigma or o hers
4. Minimum of 5 years hands-on indus rial experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abili ies (minimum requiremen s)
