The Ohio Dominican University Social Work Program invites applications for an Assistant Professor, tenure track Field Education Director position at the baccalaureate level. The person selected would join a small, well established program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. The University's location in the state capital offers rich opportunities to draw upon the city's diverse culture, wide range of social service providers, and professional organizations to support the learning environment.
The position requires a Ph.D. in social work and a Masters degree in social work from a CSWE-accredited program. A minimum of two years post-baccalaureate social work degree or post-masters social work degree practice experience in social work is required. We are seeking candidates with a strong interest in generalist social work curriculum and practice based in a commitment to social justice. The Field Education Director normally teaches one generalist social work course each academic semester.
