• 
  Responsible to provide communication and reporting of the Department/shift progress/results in achieving divisional goals; and the regular operation of the department.

• Manage and supervise production employees in a production environment.

• Manages the complete shift with Area Leaders, Team Leaders, and direct production employees. Planning, assigning, and directing work; Conflict resolution; interviewing, hiring, and training employees; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees.

• Oversee shift production, maintenance, materials and quality groups making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality. Escalating to proper staff when needed per escalation policy

• Displays willingness to make decisions; Exhibits sound and accurate judgment; Supports and explains reasoning for decisions; Includes appropriate people in decision-making process; Makes timely decisions.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Degree in business administration, management, engineering, industrial technology or related field or combination of education and experience.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Intermediate computer skills required.
• Ability to communicate with others, both verbal and written.
• Able to prepare, read, write and interpret reports, instructions, procedures and business correspondence.
• Able to clearly and effectively respond to questions from management, employees, suppliers and customers.
• Able to manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
