Assistant Production Manager- 2nd & 3rd Shift

Job Description Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Complete and accurate associate training. Knowledge of company policies and practices dealing with associate relations.
• Manage the department’s monthly budget, applying measures to decrease expenses.
• Production progress in relation to the production schedule, coordinating any corrective actions with Production Control.
• Ensure that all production problem areas, have appropriate countermeasures implemented and reported correctly and consistently to QC.
• Ensure departmental continuous improvement activities.
• Promote and ensure conformance to the company’s IATF 16949 procedures (work standards, regulations, quality manual).
• Promote and ensure conformance to the company’s ISO 14001 procedures (recycling, reducing waste).
• Promote and ensure a safe, clean, harassment free, working environment. Lead and improve department 5C activities
• Effectively communicate with management, direct supervisor and associates.

Preferred Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Degree in Industrial Technology /related field or equivalent work experience.
