The Lassen Union High School District is located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Susanville, CA, which is approximately 2 hours from Redding, CA or 1.5 hours from Reno, NV. Beginning the 2023-2024 school year, all new teachers who sign teaching contracts with Lassen Union High School District will be paid a $2,500 signing bonus. After successful completion of the first year, and a signed contract for the second year you will be paid an additional $2,500 for a combined total of $5,000. The District pays $1,166 per month towards the benefit package for full-time teachers.
