Job Title: Assistant or Associate Professor, Term Tenure Track
The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center Department of Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapy (SCTCT) invite applicants for a full-time academic appointment at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor providing patient care services and developing clinical research programs investigating effective stem cell transplant therapies for patients who suffer from cancer. This position will involve state-of-the-art stem cell transplant and cellular therapy patient care. This position offers the opportunity for professional growth and development by joining an exciting and active group of clinicians, physician-scientists, basic scientists, and translational investigators. The successful candidate will interact closely with the many ongoing research programs of the department focusing on stem cell transplant and cellular therapy, and other projects in support of patients with hematologic malignancies and solid tumors. The faculty member will have access to SCTCT’s substantial patient resources, core facilities, and educational/training programs. Applicants should hold or be eligible for medical licensure in Texas and must have an M.D. with board certification in the subspecialty of hematology and/or medical oncology. Stem cell transplantation clinical experience is desirable.
