Assistant Operations Manager

Job Overview:
As an Assiatnt Operations Manager for an Amazon Delivery Service Provider (DSP), you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of a delivery station. You will lead a team of associates to ensure efficient and timely delivery of packages to customers, while maintaining the highest levels of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Duties:
- Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics
- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
- Train and develop team members on operational procedures
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Oversee the timely maintenance of Vans, mobile devices and other company equipment
- Support the implementation of new systems or technologies
- Reporting and Documentation: Generate accurate reports and maintain comprehensive records of operations, performance metrics, and incidents. Prepare regular reports and present findings to senior management.

-Assist with hiring events and interviewing new candidates for open positions.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in operations management or a similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

-Experience working as a delivery driver or a dispatcher a plus.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
