Job description

Coordinating Council for Independent Living/West Virginia’s Choice is one of the largest case management agencies in the state of West Virginia, with 8 offices covering all 55 counties in West Virginia. It is staffed by Registered Nurses, Licensed Social Workers, Behavioral Support, Administrators, and support staff. The agency provides service program maintenance and coordination to clients statewide and has done so for over 30 years. We are seeking a new Assistant Office Manager for marketing to join our team! Responsibilities of an Assistant Office Manager:

  • The AOM provides a full range of direct and indirect marketing services to enhance community awareness of programs offered by CCIL. Within this framework, the AOM functions as a resource and initial contact representative of the agency and educates the public about available resources.
  • The AOM will perform in-home visits/phone calls to potential clientele to complete the paperwork required to determine eligibility for state-funded programs. Establish/maintain community contacts as ongoing referral sources. Recruitment of Direct Care Workers to provide in-home care services – www.westvirginiaschoice.com.
  • Local travel required within the service counties of their home office. Mileage Reimbursement for Business travel at the company's current reimbursement rate. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm.

Assistant Office Manager Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at one time and collaborate with other team members
  • Organized, punctual, professional appearance & accountability a must
  • Engaging / Energetic personality
  • Excellent time management skills and follow-up with potential clientele
  • Valid Driver’s License & Vehicle Insurance (Required)
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
