BASIC PURPOSE
The Assistant Marketing Manager supports the Category Leader and Sr. Marketing Manager/Director with implementing marketing strategies, campaigns and programs for Category brands to assist with managing the brands in their assigned Category to meet the Category KPIs
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Brand Initiative role in the overall management of the brand.
- Lead the business planning process with Category team to achieve performance objectives of sales, customer profitability, and key shopper metrics.
- Leads sales presentation development and delivery.
- Manage sku forecast process.
- Collaborate with Category Team in the development and execution of integrated business plans to achieve growth goals
- Maintains Brand relevant collaborative information portals
- Collaborates with Category Team, agencies, and others in the development of Brand selling decks for use in Customer Meetings, Internal Reviews, Trade Shows, etc.
- Lead / assist in the Collaborative Business Planning process
- Working closely with Business Enablement, Analyze, recommend, implement and control a variety of actions to help achieve business plan objectives
- Manages assigned Brand budget(s) of designed brand and present new product development status, go no go at key stage gates of the New Product Development Meeting

QUALIFICATIONS AND OTHER INFORMATION
- BS Degree in Marketing or Business, MBA in Business is a plus
- Four to five years of Marketing or product management experience in CPG (OTC preferred)
- Excellent analytical skills upon which to base decision making
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook
- Experience with Budget Management and Forecasting is a plus
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects within scheduled timelines
- Team player able to effectively interact and work with various functional departments
- Strategic, passionate, self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit, creative and a leader
- Good understanding of Marketing principles
- Willing to roll-up their sleeves
- Travel required – up to 10%
