Assistant Manager

Aqua Express Car Wash is looking to add an entry level manager to our amazing team! Aqua Express (owned by Rocket Carwash) is building top-of-the-line, industry-leading facilities across the country, and we are seeking an energetic, customer-oriented leader who is looking for an amazing opportunity to make a difference in their community! As an Assistant Manager, you are a key member of the leadership team. You are responsible for creating genuine connections that foster customer loyalty, build passion and energy for the brand, and promote a positive and growth-focused mindset. You are a pivotal partner in the management of day-to-day activities focusing on achieving sales goals and ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently.

This role is vital in helping to coach, motivate, and support all employees in achieving individual and team goals. The ideal candidate for this job will be passionate and personable. The first things people notice are your positive attitude, your work ethic, and excellent communication skills.

Job Description

• Consistently provide feedback and lead by example so each team member can contribute at their highest potential
• Ensure the site and all team members are creating a warm and welcoming environment for guests by greeting, anticipating needs, exceeding expectations to provide exceptional service.
• Be the person who “rallies the team”, and reinvigorates team members to want to provide an industry-leading customer experience
• Manage all aspects of the operation including car wash equipment, chemical inventory, and physical appearance of the office, tunnel, vacuum area, pay stations, and parking lot
• Maintain a clean appearance as per the dress and grooming standards, and enforce these standards for the wash site
• Conduct required training on processes and operational procedures for all team members
• Oversee compliance of all safety regulations and policies
• Supervise completion of opening and closing procedures
• Oversee cash and security management
• Review processes and procedures for continuous improvement
• Handle all damage claims; properly investigate, document, and report accordingly
• May be asked to perform basic to intermediate level maintenance tasks
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Has a passion for building relationships with customers and community
• Has a willingness to work hard towards a common team goal

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Work in and develop a team environment
• Ability to lead a team and deliver exceptional customer service
• Be punctual, responsible, and accountable
• Ability to work various hours, including weekends and holidays
• Maintenance experience preferred but not required

Compensation

• Annual salary from $45,000-47,000 annually, based on experience
• Earn UNLIMITED sales commissions on a daily basis!
