Job Description
Position Location: U.S. Coast Guard Island in Alameda, CA
Workdays/Time: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am-4:30 pm, Occasional evening/weekend hours
Hourly Wage: $25.86 per hour plus benefits
Qualifications:
- Must pass a government security clearance upon application and subsequent criminal background checks and not be subject to revocation of facility access during the term of employment.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or General Clerk, a High School Diploma, and a valid Food Handler’s Permit.

Duties:
Position requires inside work, sitting, walking, and occasional lifting to 50 lbs. Be able to assist the Project Manager in Proposals and Pricing. Demonstrate PC (Word and Excel), written and verbal skills. Organization, Employee Scheduling, Quality Assurance according to the contract, Deadline-Oriented, Time Management, Process Improvement, Safety Management, Data Entry Skills, conducting weekly meetings with staff including safety and loss prevention training, ability to speak with Military Dignitaries, and having strong leadership skills. Possess some cooking experience, general knowledge, and experience from working in a commercial kitchen. Prepare written and verbal reports, simple operation of office equipment and commercial mechanical equipment. Supervise and assist with the development of cleaning logs. Supervise food and equipment inventories, and janitorial supplies. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly Excel reports on all supplies ordered. Have a working knowledge of Microsoft applications and use of email, share files, and simple data processing. Other tasks as directed and assigned by the Project Manager will assist in serving the Customer.
Training:
Comprehensive training is provided to all workers. A valid Real California Driver’s license is required for the duration of employment. This is a federal installation requiring governmental clearance to access and continue working at the job site.
Location:
Work will be performed in Alameda, California. Be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
