Nature of Work:

This position is responsible for pulling merchandise for restock, and merchandising retail locations at Ball Arena and at Dicks Sporting Good’s Park when needed, maintaining displays and inventory integrity, and to re-merchandise location as need to maintain a fresh appearance of the retail locations. This position is included in the Game Night Manager rotation to be scheduled as the supervisor for Retail staff for approximately 25-35 events, and management shifts in the main retail store and other retail events as needed.

Examples of work performed:

• Pull merchandise from the warehouse, to restock and merchandise multiple locations in Ball Arena in a timely manner.
• Maintain displays and overall appearance of stores located on the 1st, club and 3rd concourse levels of Ball Arena and the integrity of the inventories at said locations.
• Re-stock Ball Arena locations as needed to maximize sales and complete all transfers correctly and in a timely manner.
• Perform all merchandise transfers and maintain accurate inventory.
• Re-merchandise stores as needed to keep a fresh look throughout the arena.
• Maintain stockroom standards and organization that supports efficiency and safety standards.
• As needed, assist in merchandising retail locations located at Dicks Sporting Goods Park.
• Assigned management shifts in the main retail store, and retail events as needed.
• Manager on Duty for Avalanche, Nuggets, Mammoth, and Rapids home games as assigned for approximately 25-35 events a year.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

• Stand up to 1/3 of time.
• Walk, sit, up to 2/3 of time.
• Lift/move up to 50lbs 1/3 of time.
• Climb ladders to reach products on warehouse shelves.
• Moderate to very loud noise
• Lift up to 25 lbs 2/3 of time, sometimes from overhead

Qualifications

• Minimum
  1. High School or GED
  2. 2+ years’ experience in field
  3. Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
• Preferred
  1. Knowledge of Retail Pro operating system is preferred.
  2. 3-5 years Retail management experience, merchandising preferred.
  3. Arena retail environment or high volume

Compensation

• Base $18.29 per hour
• Eligible for Quarterly discretionary bonus
