Assistant Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the overall operations and success of our organization. Responsibilities:
- Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, scheduling, transactions, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
- Supervise and train employees, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures
- Conduct employee orientation and ongoing training to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the Manager to ensure adequate stock availability
- Assist in creating employee schedules to ensure proper coverage during shifts
- Facilitate our marketing and sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings until 7:00.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
