Assistant Manager

Trees n Trends - Home, Fashion & MORE! is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team. This is an immediate opening for an enthusiastic individual who is ready to excel.

Skills and Experience Needed:

• Be knowledgeable in and capable of handling both front-end and warehouse operations. Responsibilities include some physical labor off-loading heavy freight such as furniture, as well as the ability to provide excellent, knowledgeable customer assistance and operate registers as requested.
• Experience in various levels/departments of retail store management
• Ability to train and learn to oversee/assist in daily activities including cash management, staff hiring/training on opening and closing procedures
• Responsible for various warehouse operations including freight deliveries, assembly and merchandising product, operating equipment as necessary
• Maintain accurate documentation for accounting procedures as required by corporate office
• Ability to train on and operate cash registers, make/oversee daily bank deposits, and complete weekly employee schedules and timesheets as required
• Exhibit excellent customer service and realize value in the ability to resolve issues and educate customers on various store products and services
• Assist in or responsible for maintaining standards of excellence in store appearance throughout all departments at all times
• Available to work full time flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as necessary.
