• Supervise and train staff
• Prep food and assist in daily store tasks
• Coordinate and direct CSA, Meat Boxes, and Meal subscriptions
• Review staff performance and offer constructive feedback
• Collaborate with team leads on setting and achieving team-specific goals
• Purchase inventory based on current trends, availability of new products and customer interest
• Display merchandise to maximize purchasing appeal
• Organize sales and product demonstrations
• Review sales reports and make recommendations for improvements
• Keep store and staff up to brand values and store standards
• Organize receipts and invoices for each week and review where more efficiency can take place
• Interact with customers and resolve complaints or grievances
• Assist in outreach for more catering gigs (I.e. reaching out to all saints to provide once a week lunches or once month lunches for school, connecting with schools for staff luncheons…)

We’re looking for a highly successful Assistant General Manager who will not just manage the market but will take charge of the operation and bring it to its optimum success.
As Assistant General Manager you must have an entrepreneurial attitude and treat the store as if it were your very own. You will be responsible to maintain our market’s annual revenue, while continuously striving to increase sales, deliver a superior product and maintain an excellent customer experience.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensures execution and compliance of Food Safety and Quality Assurance: Manages food, inventory and equipment controls; Maintains food service and production levels by leading strong BOH and FOH execution.
• Food Prep: Efficiently and thoroughly prep food for grab-n-go menu items, bakery display items, made-to-order menu items and ensure future success for the following day
• Build relationships with current vendors and create new relationships with potential vendors. Purchase necessary inventory based on current trends, availability of new products and customer interest
• Provides exceptional customer experience: Builds important connections with customers; Provides excellent dine-in and take-out; maintains market/cafe cleanliness and maintenance to high company standards.
• Complete talent management: Actively directs, coach and trains team members to high performance levels. Responsible for labor controls; recruitment selection, hiring, retention, corrective actions and performance development.
• Fiscal Responsibility: Maintains restaurant financial controls. Complete P & L, budget and SPLH ownership. Proactivity identifies and secures sales opportunities.
• Administrative Assignments: Completes administrative (managerial) responsibilities including system reports
