CAMS is on the search for a full-time Assistant General Manager to aid in the daily operations of a Large Scale On-site Community in Mount Pleasant, SC. Prior Home Owner Association or property management experience is preferred.
The position hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm and in-house presence at the on-site office is required regularly.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional guidance to the Association utilizing association management best practices
- Read and interpret Association governing documents and contracts
- Assist with annual financial budget if needed
- Work within the budget constraints of the Association and ensure the integrity of financial reports
- Review and approve invoices based on completion of work and approved expense
- Assist the GM with the daily operation of the community/facilities pursuant to the policies and procedures established by the Association
- Coordinate all work and contractor-related instructions from the Board
- Supervise all routine service requests. This includes ensuring proper receipt and handling of calls from Members, maintaining complete records; and ensuring prompt response to all maintenance requirements within the responsibilities of the Association’s legal documents, especially those called in by residents.
- Produce Work Orders/Service Requests
- Supervise a work order system
- Inspect facilities and grounds for maintenance requirements and covenant compliance
- Maintain records and follow up with compliance issues (violations)
- Recommend qualified vendors to achieve work and oversee vendor performance as needed
- Maintain master vendor list
- Basic accounting and business operations
- Microsoft Office Suite

- Multi-tasking, problem resolution & prioritizing assignments to meet deadlines

Benefits and Salary
The annual salary for this role is $45,000-$50,000 to begin with merit and performance increases to be discussed annually.
