Job Overview
We are in search of an Assistant General Manager who is passionate about the hospitality industry and possesses a keen eye for detail. This position plays a critical role in ensuring operational excellence across all rental properties, with a particular focus on managing housekeeping staff, overseeing the ordering of supplies and amenities, and ensuring a seamless guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in all rental properties.
- Oversee the procurement and stocking of supplies and amenities.
- Coordinate with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to promptly address and resolve any issues.
- Manage guest communications and provide support in the event of guest escalations.
- Implement quality control protocols to uphold the company’s reputation for excellence.
- Assist in operational strategy development to improve efficiency and enhance guest satisfaction.
- Provide on-call support for emergencies and unexpected issues, offering timely and effective solutions.
- Work closely with the General Manager and other team members to achieve business goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in operations, hospitality, or related field, with a preference for experience in vacation rental or hotel management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest service.
- Excellent communication skills for effective guest and team interactions.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and be on-call for emergencies.
- Problem-solving skills and the capability to manage stressful situations with composure.
