The City Public Service Building, constructed in 1921, stands as a historic landmark along the vibrant San Antonio Riverwalk. Designed by renowned architects Ayres and Ayres, this building uniquely faced the river, marking a distinctive feature among its contemporaries. Acquired and restored by Drury Hotels in 1998, the exterior was meticulously refurbished to its original 1920s charm, now boasting a rooftop pool and observation deck, offering breathtaking views of the bustling Riverwalk and the city's rich historical landscape.
Meet This Propertys Leader and General Manager, Jeff Kotlarczyk:
Jeff has been involved in the hotel industry since 1997, working in various roles from the front desk to his current position as General Manager. He completed his degree in Hospitality Administration/Management at Michigan State University. Having spent nearly 7 years at Drury, he is dedicated to helping team members achieve their best, fostering an environment of growth and empowerment. Jeff is recognized for his skill in solving complex issues, emphasizing thorough training, and his passion for employee mentorship. Every day he strives to help his team members to become better leaders in their career endeavors and in life.
In Jeffs spare time he enjoys golfing and working on special projects around the house. Jeff is a sports fanatic and likes to follow his beloved Michigan State Spartans and all of the Detroit teams.

- Selfless passion to serve others and exceed guests expectations.
- Bachelors degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of one-year supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership success.
- Bilingual preferred, not required.
- Requires ability to walk and stand during entire working period or up to 5 or 6 hours. Requires ability to lift 10 - 15 pounds intermittently during the work shift.
