Job Description
As Assistant General Manager you will be given the autonomy to manage the business; oversee the day-to-day operations for the activity areas, food and beverage, events, parties and looking at ways to engage with the local community and increase footfall and participation. You will be responsible for leading and motivating supervisors and team members, taking responsibility for their development, performance, and motivation.
There is huge potential for career progression as we are looking to open over 100 sites in the USA. The right individual will have experience working in a multi-faceted service led leisure or hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
General
- Together with the General Manager, review daily business operations including daily, weekly, and monthly inspections.
- Oversee the operations of the park including cash and sales control, party management and set-up, inventory management and park opening/closing procedures.
- Together with the General Manager, oversee everything that transpires in the park, including but not limited to sales, safety, cleanliness, and any injuries or incidents that may occur at park.
- Work with vendors to control costs and keep operating costs within budget.
- Handle all park incidents in a timely efficient manner.
- Together with the General Manager, manage the park’s P&L to ensure park’s profitability and efficiency.
- Learning and generating daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Assist General Manager in team scheduling for effective service and profitability.
- Upholding company, industry safety and state and local regulations including sanitation and food service.
Team
- Manage team members practicing positive HR practices by leading by example, being a role model for others and mentoring/coaching team members as needed.
- Support team members and fellow management to promote success and a positive, safe, fun work environment.
- Draft, communicate, track, and hold Team members accountable for individual goals.
- Ensure execution of training programs to equip team to perform their job functions successfully and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Assist in recruiting and hiring talented team members.
- Evaluating performance and productivity.
Sales
- Execute sales and marketing plans in collaboration with the GM and Corporate Team.
- Assisting in the research, development, and implementation of programs.
- Oversee and grow membership program.
- Be aware of the park P&Ls to ensure park’s profitability and efficiency.
Guest Experience
- Create the ultimate ANW experience for guests through outstanding operations that focus on safety, cleanliness, and exceptional guest service.
- Enforce the park rules to uphold a safe, family-friendly environment.
- Ensure our guests have the BEST experience and continue to return.
Deliverables:
- A safe park.

Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a management capacity.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required.
- Able to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Proficient in using a computer, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
- Outstanding work ethic and a passion to succeed.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
- Able to demonstrate a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Able to handle multiple priorities and tasks in a fast paced, busy environment.
