Join us, and you could be one of them.About the Role:The lawyer in this role will be responsible for providing a broad range of legal services to the Industrial & Supply Chain, Procurement and Sales departments of the Ferrero North America business.
She/he will report directly to and work closely with the General Counsel, Industrial & Supply Chain and will be a business partner who will collaborate across the global Ferrero organization.Ferrero U.S.A., based in Parsippany, NJ, operates on a hybrid model with 2 days working from home and 3 days working in the office.Main Responsibilities:* Negotiation and drafting of commercial agreements including supply agreements, transportation and logistics agreements, construction contracts, and services agreements; reviewing existing supplier contracts and helping with the review and prioritization of issues in contract negotiations.* Advising internal clients on key provisions of agreements, complex sourcing issues, risk management, dispute resolution, and project management issues.* Interfacing with Procurement group to support contracts with all business units.* Negotiation and drafting of contracts with retail customers and sales brokers.* Counseling and training to business units on all legal policies including antitrust laws and regulations.* Work with internal clients to resolve disputes that arise with suppliers, contractors and consultants.* Assisting with RFQs and RFPs* Support the Ferrero Group Centers of Competence in the preparation of template agreements and policies for use across all Ferrero regions.* Provide litigation support on supply and logistics claims and related disputes.Who we are looking for:* Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in New Jersey (or willing to obtain an in-house limited license).* 4-6 years of experience as an attorney in a top law firm or corporation (in-house at a CPG company preferred) with strong working knowledge of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), Robinson-Patman Act, transportation and procurement contracts, operations, Supply Chain and insurance.* Knowledge of FDA regulations (including FSMA) is preferred.* Demonstrated ability to be a pro-active team player and partner effectively with business clients in a collaborative environment to achieve stated business objectives while minimizing risks.* Self-starter with a sense of urgency, ability to multi-task, ability to handle unanticipated situations effectively and work well under pressure with tight deadlines.* Professional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to translate complicated legal concepts to understandable business terms.* Must present a professional image.* Ability to maintain the highest degree of ethics.* Highly motivated and positive attitude.* Must be able to travel as required (domestic & international - less than 5%).How to be successful in the role and at Ferrero:Consumers, quality and care are at the heart of everything we do.
