Job Summary/Purpose:
Enru currently has an opening for a Assistant General Counsel to join the Enru Legal & Contracts team. This position is based in Atlanta, Georgia
In this role, you will be working closely with the General Counsel of MCL Solutions and Enru to deliver exceptional support to Enru's customers and its internal clients in the Digital & Software, Sales, Operations, Human Resources, Finance, Compliance, Safety and Communication teams. This will require you to meet complex challenges with creative approaches as part of a diverse team. You will be empowered to establish strategies and make decisions to address the changing and dynamic Enru business. Ultimately, you will establish yourself as an indispensable go-to partner to Enru and its customers, owning front-line legal issues and driving them to resolution, while at the same time contributing to the elevation of Enru's culture. You will have the autonomy to make decisions, create solutions and solve problems to influence the right outcomes for our customers and our business.
Position (Essential Functions):
Key responsibilities:

• Partner with Enru's technology, sales, and operations teams to support core and strategic initiatives and transactions. This will include collaboration on issues in day-to-day business operations, commercial strategy, offering and contract development, drafting, & negotiation of complex customer and supplier contracts, software licensing agreements, and data processing agreements;
• Provide legal guidance on various aspects of SaaS, including licensing agreements, product development, and data privacy;
• Support the development, protection and enforcement of Enru intellectual property, including proprietary software and tools;
• Advise on and manage dispute and litigation strategy;
• Help drive compliance and safety initiatives, including training, in varied regulatory areas (DOT, privacy, etc.);
• Develop policies, procedures and training to ensure compliance with laws and regulations;
• Support ESG initiatives; and
• Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
• Travel will be required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Qualified lawyer - licensed and in good standing to practice law in at least 1 state in the United States. Minimum of 7 years of experience;
• "Hands on" commercial contract experience in drafting and negotiating complex agreements, including SaaS, software licensing agreements and similar types of agreements;
• Experience with the unique commercial objectives and challenges within the SaaS industry;
• Strong advocacy skills, including the ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally, the ability to think clearly and quickly under pressure;
• Strong commitment to integrity, diversity, and inclusion;
• Strong project management and prioritization skills;
• Record of dedicated and successful teamwork, good interpersonal skills; and
