ASSISTANT FRONT OFFICE MANAGER for Le Meridien Hotel. This role requires prior hotel front desk management or supervisory experience.

WHAT YOU DO
You will be responsible for assisting the Front Office Manager with all Front Office operations, including Bell Staff, Guest Services and Front Desk. You will be the evening Manager on Duty and a primary contact for guests and other hotel departments. You will delegate effectively, demonstrate initiative, take ownership of issues, and have good critical thinking skills. As a manager, you will direct and work with managers and associates to successfully execute all Front Office operations, including but not limited to ensuring efficient guest registration, check out, telephone service, billing, guest problem resolution, bell and shuttle services, valet parking, and emergency response. You will assign specific tasks to Front Desk and Guest Service associates as applicable and necessary as well as provide ongoing training and support to Front Desk Agents and Guest Service Agents. In addition, you will work to establish a safe and secure environment for all guests and associates. You will strive to continually improve guest and associate’s satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Previous hotel front desk supervisory or management experience is required including thorough knowledge of all aspects of hotel front desk operations
- This role involves a flexible schedule which may require working days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English
- Good knowledge of computers including Microsoft Office, with Marriott LightSpeed, Galaxy, MARSHA experience a plus
- Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively select, motivate, develop, and retain staff
- Ability to manage change effectively with clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
- Team building effectiveness with superb organizational skills to include time management, delegation and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to walk and stand for hours at a time
- Possess drive to create a fun, rewarding and professional work environment
