About North Park
Founded in 1891, North Park University is a Christian university affiliated with the Evangelical Covenant Church of over 3,200 students from around the country and the world.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze performance and instruct athletes in football techniques and strategies in preparation for and during athletics competition.
- Assist with all phases of competitive NCAA and CCIW compliant recruiting.
- Design, organize, and supervise strength and Conditioning program for the football team.
- Maintains accurate strength and Conditioning records.
- Instructs, educates, and supervises all football student-athletes regarding proper weight training and flexibility techniques.
- Design training strategies for both injury prevention and to improve sport specific performance.
- Ensure a commitment to the academic success of football student-athletes, including monitoring academic performance, attendance, and social behavior.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, alumni, faculty, staff, and the campus community.
- Participate in fundraising and development events and be highly visible in the community.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach, Assistant Vice President for Athletics and Sport Management, and Associate and Assistant Athletic Directors.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- Coaching experience and extensive knowledge of the sport of football at the intercollegiate level are required.
- Must have one of the National Strength and Conditioning Certifications: Certified Strength and Conditioning Certification (CSCS) or Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) or Certified Strength Coach (CSC) upon start of position.
- Applicants must be able to work an untraditional work schedule (i.e. frequent nights and weekends).
- Able to lift and move athletic equipment.
- Able to travel with team, by vehicle or plane.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
