EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Full time position
PRIMARY DUTY: The Assistant Football Coachwill serve as an Assistant Football Coach within the football program at Northwest Missouri State University.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Be responsible for coaching a specific position group within the football program
  • Serve as an Assistant Football Coach and assist the intercollegiate football program with coaching, recruiting, scouting, and the training of team members
  • Assist with game day management
  • Assist the Head Football Coach with other duties as assigned
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics

REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Successful coaching experience at the high school or college level
Skills: Knowledge of NCAA and MIAA Rules and Regulations; excellent computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; video editing abilities; familiarity with social media

WORKING CONDITIONS: This positionmust work and travel nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary. This position must purchase and maintain a cellular device and service that will be used for work functions. This position must be responsible for plan choices, calling areas, service features, terminations clauses, and paying for all charges associated with the cellular device and service. This position is identified as a Campus Security Authority (CSA). The CSA will attend required CSA training and is an official of the University who has significant responsibility for students and campus activities and the authority to take action for the University.
