Assistant Facility Security Officer - Waltham

Security Clearance not required prior to applying; GET will begin the security clearance process once the right candidate is selected.
Our Security Team will walk the selected candidate through the process.
All offers of employment are contingent upon one’s eligibility to obtain and maintain a government security clearance sponsored by GETNA.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists the FSO with the overall security program
- Processes new employee security clearances
- Tracks security clearance investigations and performs administrative support functions, including DISS and Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP) administration
- Assist preparation and communication with personnel with Fingerprinting services
- Provides security briefings, debriefings, and awareness training for site personnel
- Processes outgoing visit requests and certifications
- Review required forms, processes, and screens security forms (SF85 and SF86)
- Assists in the physical facility monitoring and reporting
- Assists in preparation for facility reviews, audits and inspections
- Develop, implement, and oversee federal security clearance program
- Provide training for classified/secure project personnel
- Oversee company’s completion and retention of personnel security clearance records
- Oversee and assist FSO’s with self-inspection and review of security processes to ensure compliance with relevant laws
- Oversee and assist FSO’s with coordination of closeout for all classified projects
- Oversight of company CUI processes and compliance
- Support other company security disciplines as needed in connection with classified/secure projects: Legal, Information Technology and Corporate Communications Skills and Qualifications
Job Requirements(minimum)
- U.S. citizenship required
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of State Security Clearance prior to starting work
- On-site work is work is required.
- Our Security team will help selected candidate with the Clearance process. Clearance not required prior to applying for position.
Academic Qualifications
- Required: Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA)-qualified AFSO or 2 years’ experience in security programs as AFSO or in a related field
- Preferred: S level clearance (or able to obtain); must possess at minimum a DOD secret Clearance for position.
- Preferred: In-depth knowledge of NISPOM requirements, have strong computer skills and cyber knowledge
- Strong knowledge of DISS and e-QIP government programs, SF85 and SF86, DD 254 and DD 441, and SF 328
The AFSO may perform other duties within the assigned department, provided he or she is able to perform the duties and responsibilities of the AFSO.
The AFSO may supervise department activities in the absence of FSO to achieve maximum security requirements and continuity of team productivity
